This class will cover the history of Zentangle, the basic steps of the method and the associated vocabulary and tools used. Participants will create actual Zentangle tiles and will leave with a clear understanding that “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”
Zentangle is an American method for drawing, which not only promotes concentration and creativity but at the same time increases personal well-being. Zentangle was invented by a monk named Rick Roberts and an artist named Maria Thomas. With Zentangle they created a combination of meditation and art.

The fee for the 2.5-hour class is $35.00. All supplies will be provided. To register, please call the VAS Art Center at (703) 319-3971. The class size will be limited to 12 participants.
