There are different issues that teens face every day. What is appropriate behavior compared to inappropriate behavior? This workshop will address these questions and give guidance on navigating the mental health system. You will also learn what resources are available to you and your teen. There will be a Question & Answer period with discussion.
About the Presenter
Alex Kuo is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Maryland. She practices at Chesapeake Neuro-Behavioral Health in Ownings, Maryland where she provides talk therapy with the option of adding neuromodulation. She has practiced in the range of mental health services from emergency psychiatric services, inpatient behavioral health, and outpatient services. Alex sees clients of any gender or age at this point in time but has specialized in therapy with adolescent girls in her past experience.
As she is currently more in the "toddler stage" of her personal life, Alex continues her passion to help girls, women, and their families achieve a sense of belonging and worth to achieve whatever they set their mind to.
In her spare time, Alex is an Information & Referral team member for The Women’s Center.
