Stand Out and Get Hired!

Find out how to “stand out and get hired” with tips and tricks on the hiring process all the way from application to interview. This class will discuss determining the right time to get a job, cultivating your resume, detailing job descriptions and experience, and preparing for interviews. Through brainstorming about your interests and/or skills, we’ll suggest possible career paths or job opportunities that match your abilities. Delve into your personal and professional strengths, accomplishments, and values while synthesizing your background with organizations’ unique missions. At the end of the session, you’ll walk away with a concrete framework to maximize your candidacy during the job search.

About the Presenter

Pam Mahone brings over 20 years of experience with Prince William County Public Schools, where she has honed her skills in professional development and leadership. In this workshop, Pam will guide you through practical strategies for entering or reentering the workforce, as well as achieving your next career milestone. Whether you’re seeking a fresh start or a well-deserved promotion, this session is designed to empower you with the tools and confidence to succeed.
