Quarterly Recycling Day

Town accepts auto waste products and electronics for recycling
               
The Town of Vienna’s first Quarterly Recycling Day of 2018 will be held from 8 am-2 pm Saturday, March 3, at the Town’s Northside Property Yard, 600 Mill Street NE. These events provide a safe, convenient way for residents to dispose of waste oil, car batteries, antifreeze, and electronics in an environmentally responsible way.
 
Last year, the Town of Vienna, through its Quarterly Recycling Days, recycled approximately 350 gallons of waste oil, 43 gallons of antifreeze, 10 car batteries, and 16 tons of electronics.
 
Hazardous waste products, such as insecticides, paint, and other chemicals, are not accepted. Just about any electronic with a plug, except for CRT-type computers and TVs (those with large backsides), will be accepted.
