Quarterly Recycling Day

Town helps residents recycle electronics, auto waste, and scrap metal
               
The Town of Vienna will host is next Quarterly Recycling Day from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, September 14. Residents are invited to bring what often are difficult-to-recycle items ? auto waste (such as used oil and antifreeze), electronics (no TVs please), and scrap metal ? to the Northside Property Yard, 600 Mill Street NE, for recycling. No hazardous materials, such as paint and insecticides, will be accepted.
 
So far in 2019, the Town of Vienna has collected 225 gallons of waste oil, 25 gallons of antifreeze, and about 1.5 tons of electronics for recycling.
