Mardi Gras Celebration from the Shepherd's Center and Vienna Parks and Recs

Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday, has been celebrated throughout southern parts of the U.S. for many years, particularly in New orleans.  This holiday is now a widely recognized occasion that features many festive traditions, such as colored beads, music and food.  Come get into the spirit of Mardi Gras and enjoy an afternoon of festivities to include a Cajun cuisine lunch, Mardi Gras mask making, trivia & prizes and jazzy entertainment provided by the Snappy Tappers.  Pre-register by February 1.  $10.00 per peron.  This event is sponsored by the Shepherd's Center of Oakton-Vienna and the Vienna Parks and Recreation.  To register call 703.281.0538.
