ABOUT THE EVENT
Exceptional bands are made up of musicians who can hold their own, but instead decide to collaborate on something bigger. New to the local Washington, DC music scene, CCB has the chemistry and rhythm of a crew of seasoned professionals. The soulful front man, Chris Collat, is bolstered by Teo on bass, Bryan McFarley on drums, Jon Waller on keys, and Rich Morey on guitar. The recent Guinness Battle of the Bands winners have already played such respected venues as the 9:30 Club, IOTA and Jammin Java, and have shared the stage with nationally touring acts. These five musicians are quickly winning fans and making waves in the vibrant DC music scene. Their modern sound stretches from the John Mayer Trio to Maroon 5, with a slight throwback and respects to Bill Withers and Jeff Healey. Their love of music & performance sets every venue they play on fire with their captivating stage presence and the electric energy of their grooves.
