Garden Wisdom
The Town of Vienna’s Conservation and Sustainability Commission is looking to share a bit of green know-how and enthusiasm through its Garden Wisdom fall speaker event at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, at Town Hall. This event is free and open to the public.
Margaret Fisher, of Plant NoVA Native, will expound on the benefits of native plants while soil scientist Dan Schwartz, with the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District, will address “The World Beneath Our Feet.” Both presentations are designed to inspire residents to think about their own gardens in new ways.
