Community Enhancement Commission Native Plant Sale

The Vienna Community Enhancement Commission will hold a Native Plant Sale that will offer a wide selection of native plants from local vendors.  Native plants are easier to care for, require less water and support wildlife and beneficial pollinators.

Plants being sold will include Asclepias (Butterfly Weed) which is the primary food source for Monarch butterfly larva.  Planting Asclepias in your garden will help boost the Monarch butterfly population!  Fall is the perfect time to plant native plants because they have time to establish root systems over the winter.  In the spring your garden will be greatly enhanced by these beautiful and robust plants.
