19th Amendment Week: Suffrage Rally - 1 - 3 pm at First Baptist Church

Suffrage Rally - 1 - 3 pm at First Baptist Church - Including Mayor Colbert's proclamation on the ERA,  performances by children of Biographies of Notable Americans on the Passing of the Liberty Amendments, a Suffrage Play written and performed by Girl Scout Troop 5689, Re-enactors, crafts led by the girl scouts, displays of biographies of suffragists, suffrage banners and posters, and a review of the new Turning Point Memorial. Come with homemade posters or dressed as a suffragist or ERA supporter and bring a picnic or enjoy the food trucks.
