The Committee for Helping Others  is an all-volunteer organization that provides necessary goods\, services and emergency relief  to those in need in the Vienna\, Oakton\, Dunn Loring and Merrifield areas.   The Shepherd's Center is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to promoting and supporting purposeful independent living for mature adults through volunteer opportunities and support services.
