SUMMARY:Vienna's Sparkling July 4 Celebration
DESCRIPTION:FIREWORKS\, FAMILY & FUN\n\n \n\nA circus show\, chili dog and pie eating contests\, moon bounces\, and live music are all on tap for Vienna's July 4 celebration at Yeonas Park\, 1319 Ross Drive SW. Of course\, a fireworks display will provide the booming exclamation point to the fun-filled evening.\n\n \n\nKids ages 5-10 can compete in a pie eating contest at 5 p.m.\n\n \n\nAt the Old Bay Circus Company shows\, at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.\, spectators of all ages will enjoy an astonishing one-ring circus that features lovely aerialists\, giant unicycles\, madcap juggling\, and breath-taking stunts. \n\n \n\nFestival attendees can also take part in kids' games and jump themselves silly in moon bounces. The "Field of Dreams" a fun\, interactive obstacle course for kids of all ages and kids at heart will be set up on the baseball diamond until 7 p.m. Each base and running path will feature fun activities like dizzy bat\, tire run\, and lily pad leap. \n\n \n\nAt 7 p.m.\, Vienna-based Fat Chance will perform classic rock tunes. \n\n \n\nFood and beverages will be available for purchase from the Vienna Little League concession stand beginning at 4 p.m.\n\n \n\nLast\, but certainly not least\, the fireworks display will launch about 9:30 p.m. from Southside Park at 1315 Ross Drive SW. Seating opens at 7 p.m. and is available primarily at Yeonas Park\; limited seating is available at Southside. Bring chairs and blankets\; lawn chairs are prohibited on the baseball fields at Yeonas Park.  \n\n \n\nThe following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7-11 p.m.: \n\n              Ross Drive from Cottage Street to George Street\n\n              Patrick Street and George Street from Cottage Street to Ross Drive.\n\n \n\nParking is available at Cedar Lane School and Thoreau Middle School.
