DESCRIPTION:Vienna's most popular event! This fun\, free parade features originally created floats\, bands\, costumed kids\, and more. The Vienna Halloween Parade is co-hosted by the Town of Vienna and the Vienna Business Association. The 2021 theme is 'THE ROARING TWENTIES.' \nHow to participate\n\nThe Town accepts Halloween Parade applications from July 1 through mid-September.  Applications are subject to approval based on space availability as well as entertainment value\, variety and adherence to the theme and parade guidelines.  Applicants are encouraged to submit photographs or sketches of entries. The 2021 parade application is linked above and is due by Sept. 17. \n\nChildren and others in costume are invited to march along in the parade as well\, no need to register. Children with parents who want to march meet at 6 p.m. at the United Bank\, 374 Maple Ave.\, E.  Only businesses\, organizations and representatives with floats or cars need to apply.\n\nFor sponsorship details\, check out the Town's Halloween Sponsor brochure or contact Lily Widman via email or at 703-255-5738.\n\nDetails about the upcoming parade\n\nThe 75th annual Halloween Parade will take place at 7 p.m. Oct. 27.
