Kick off to Korea!\n\n \n\nBUSINESSES\, One of Vienna's own is going to REPRESENT our Town at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyongchang\, South Korea. \n\n\n\nFor a list of businessess raising money for Veronica\, click here!\n\nDeadline\, Thursday\, Sep. 14\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nVeronica's event is the Skeleton\, hurtling downhill at breathtaking speeds\; seeking to bring Gold and Glory to her hometown of Vienna.  But she needs our help!\n\n \n\nThe Town of Vienna and town businesses are holding a VERONICA DAY DAY\, Saturday\, September 16\, to help her raise funds for this historic bid.\n\n \n\nVeronica Highlights:\n\n \n\nVeronica Day is a Vienna local and a 2007 graduate of Madison HS.  She excelled in track and field while at Madison and attended Elon University on a D1 track and field scholarship.  Upon graduation in 2011 Veronica tried out for the US Skeleton team.  She was named to the National team and is currently in contention to be named to the 2018 Olympic Team.  The team will be named in January and will take place in PyeongChang\, South Korea.  Veronica needs your help in the final push to qualify!  The US Olympic Committee is a non-profit organization and does not pay its athletes.  That's where you come in!  It's up to Veronica to raise the funds in order to travel and compete at the highest level.  Your help is imperative to help Veronica succeed and make Vienna proud!?\n\n \n\nSaturday\, September 16\, 2017 has been named by the Town of Vienna VERONICA DAY DAY.   WHAT CAN YOU\, A LOCAL BUSINESS DO? \n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, September 16 we are looking for businesses to do a 10% donation day.  You can do it all day\, you can do it for dinner crowds\, you can even extend it to run the whole weekend\, if you would like! The goal is to get lots of people in your business\, raise your sales\, and donate 10% of the sales back to Veronica Day\, and her journey to Korea!\n\n\n\n  If you are a business where it doesn't make sense (non-retail) to do a 10% day\, you can contribute as well through a Sponsor Donation:  \n\n       Gold Medal Sponsor - $250\n\n      Silver Medal Sponsor - $100\n\n      Bronze Medal Sponsor - $50\nGREAT VISIBILITY! A complete list of all participating businesses and their donation % (or sponsor levels) will be publicized through the Vienna Business Association weekly emails\, and social media outlets\, and will be featured prominently on the front page of the VBA website\, and promoted by the Town of Vienna.\n\n\n\nSaturday and Sunday\, Veronica will be around to ?make the rounds? to participating businesses  to take pics and sign autographs for YOUR CUSTOMERS.
