DESCRIPTION:Our reaction to stress matters more than the stressors themselves. If we can't change the situation\, can we change our reaction to it? How can we reframe stressors in a way that connects us to our values?\n\nThis workshop can build upon the previous workshop (Stress to Strength: Mindset Matters) or can stand on its own. In this virtual workshop\, you will gain:\n\n\n	An understanding of how your body react to stress.\n	Practical ways to step back and make an effort to see stressors differently.\n	Reflection on real-life example\n\n\nPlease consider registering for Stress to Strength Mindset Matters on February 2 to start the discussion.\n\nAbout the Presenter\n\nYiqing (Alice) Fan is Master's level clinician at The Women's Center pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at American University. Following the scientist-practitioner model\, Alice is engaged in both clinical work and research. She provides therapy to adult clients dealing with stress\, anxiety\, depression\, adjustment issues\, or interpersonal difficulties. Her main research interest is the etiology and treatment for anxiety-related disorders\, with a focus on the role of daily stress and coping processes.
