DESCRIPTION:We at The Wine Outlet have a theory: most people like bacon. Well\, we will put that to the test on June 25th\, as we have our first annual BACON TASTING! What will comprise this tasting? We are putting together a 4 course sampler meal\, food for sale\, recipe cards\, and of course\, the wine that we think is incredible for the corresponding dish. Here is the lineup:\n\n\n\nCourse 1\n\nBacon Guacamole on Firehook Crackers\n\nPaired with Etoile Sparkling Wine\n\n\n\nCourse 2\n\nTruffle Cheddar Bacon Macaroni and Cheese\n\nPaired with Terrazas Malbec and TBD\n\n\n\nCourse 3\n\nMy award winning Chili (of course with a bacon base!)\n\nPaired with Numanthia Tinto de Toro (Tempranillo) and TBD\n\n\n\nCourse 4\n\nDark Chocolate Bacon Bars with a 7 Spice BBQ Rub\n\nPaired with Cheval des Andes and Dom Ruinart Champagne\n\n\n\nTo cover our food costs\, we ask the modest fee of $7/person and because the tasting is over the course of 5 hours\, there is no need to RSVP\, and please\, come at your leisure.\n\n\n\n*Consuming raw or undercooked meats\, poultry\, seafood\, shellfish\, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness\, especially if you have a medical condition.
