DESCRIPTION:Join mindfulness facilitator Martha Brettschneider of Damselwings\, LLC\, and therapeutic yoga instructor Carolyn Bagdoyan of Heart Tree Yoga\, LLC\, for an interactive workshop that will help you approach the holidays with presence\, intention\, and a focus on self-care. Hosted by Grass Roots Fitness\, this event will help you put on your own oxygen mask first so that you can be your best self for your loved ones this holiday season. \n\nMartha and Carolyn will lead the group through a series of mindfulness exercises (including\, but not limited to\, meditation) as well as mindful movement and stillness techniques for relieving stress and balancing energy. \n\nExercises will take place either sitting in a chair or lying on a yoga mat if comfortable for the participant. This is not a yoga class\, however. The movement exercises are restful\, restorative\, and accessible for all ages and fitness levels. \n\nPlease bring a yoga mat if you have one!
