DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our Monthly networking lunch at the American Legion!\n\n\n\nGreat way  to meet other business folks in Town and grow your network!\n\n\n\nOn the menu this month: BBQ!\n\n\n\nOur guest speaker this month is Suzanne Coyle\, the Executive Director of the Stroke Comeback Center\, \n\n\n\nMay is Stroke Awareness Month\n\n\n\nThe Stroke Comeback Center is a community of survivors of stroke and other brain trauma committed to living successful and productive lives. We are a non-profit organization that offers support along the slow road to better. Our members\, our professionals\, our volunteers\, our coaches\, and our families know that recovery continues forever. We are the only center of this kind in the Washington\, DC area.\n\n\n\nThe Stroke Comeback Center:\n\n\n\n  Provides programs and classes for survivors with aphasia and other communication difficulties using a social approach\n\n  Focuses on all aspects of recovery: speech\, reading\, writing and comprehension\, cognition and fitness\n\n  Uses interactive technologies tailored to each of our members\n\n  Continues to provide affordable fees through donor-funded scholarships\n\n  Has received national recognition for our accomplishments and innovation\n\n  Believes that all survivors deserve the respect and the support needed to live successfully and participate fully in life\n\n\n\nFor more information on the Stroke Comeback Center\, click here.\n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome\, all must register.\n\n\n\n11:30-Noon Networking\n\nNoon - 1PM Lunch and Presentation\n\n\n\nBring your business cards\, we have door prizes!
