In their first year as a band\, the septet set out on two national tours and played on bills with acts like IDLES\, Bambara\, and A Giant Dog. With a wide spectrum of influences from Women to Talk Talk to Dionne Warwick\, they have found resonance with all walks looking for a band that can be trusted in moments of queer vulnerability\, as well as in radical verses of dissent.\n\nTheir most recent EP\, Why Wait Till '55\, We Might Not Even Be Alive\, feels brutally of the time. It is an ideal cathartic expulsion\, for all of us defiant in the face of political dread\, while simultaneously in need of more meaningful human intimacy.\n\nCAL RIKFIN\n\nCal Rifkin is a garage rock/power pop trio from the Nation's Capital consisting of ErikGrimm (Guitar/Vocals)\, Keith Butler Jr. (Drums) and Robin Rhodes (Bass). The bandformed in the Fall 2018 and was solidified by the members' shared love for greasy Ledo'spizza\, early 90's baseball aesthetics and rock 'n' roll music. They released their self-titleddebut EP in the Spring of 2020 and are getting ready to release their newest single anddebut music video\, 'Break My Heart'. The band's energetic sound and live performancescome from a wide range of influences and backgrounds from its members. Their songs arespawned by frontman and songwriter\, Erik Grimm\, and given a new life by theunstoppable Rifkin rhythm section featuring Keith Butler and Robin Rhodes.\n\n\n\nAIROSPACE\n\n\n\nAirospace is a galactic hip hop experience wrapped in multi-dimensional production and beautiful imagery. Hailing from Washington\, DC\, he describes himself as a "sad rap boy with goth girl features" and creates music guided by emotion and honest expression.
