From art forgeries and fake discoveries to infamous scams and media manipulations\, we'll delve into the deception\, the mastermind behind it\, and the lasting impact these hoaxes have had on society.\n\n\n\nJim Lewis is a noted local historian\, lecturer and tour guide\, focusing primarily on the Civil War\, WWII and Cold War years.  His biannual Hunter MIll Road Corridor historical tour has been a favorite for years. He has also authored 30+ historical markers and has been a past "Lord Fairfax" designate.\n\n\n\nThere will be a brief business meeting before the program and this year's Volunteer of the Year award will be announced.  Part II of this program is on Tuesday\, October 22.
