SUMMARY:Half Past First Cast leads trip to Alaska\, Bear Trail Lodge - July 31 through August 4\, 2023
DESCRIPTION:We'd love for you to fish with us in Bristol Bay\, Alaska at Bear Trail Lodge. It's a five-star experience from start to finish\, with world-class salmon runs\, remote fly-out experiences\, exceptional scenery and wildlife\, and incredible food. We were there in 2020 for the Sockeye run\, and now we're headed back for the Silvers.\n\nIncredible Fishing\n\nBear Trail Lodge is situated on the banks of the Naknek River\, and you never need to leave to enjoy incredible salmon and trout fishing. They also have access to over 30 flyout locations\, at most of which you'll never see another person. You can catch rainbow trout\, Dolly Varden\, Arctic Grayling\, and all five species of Pacific Salmon.\n\nThe Bears of Katmai\n\nIf you've ever seen bears swatting salmon on a waterfall on National Geographic\, it was probably at Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park. We'll fly there one day and watch them up close and personal. You can fish amongst them or view them from a safe platform\, but don't worry\, they know you're there\, but they're far more interested in eating the plentiful salmon.\n\nA Luxury Experience\n\nBear Trail Lodge will cater to your every need\, with lush cabins and exceptional food and drink. They supply all tackle\, including waders\, so all you need to bring is clothing for a range of weather conditions and an expectation of success. Your luggage going home may be heavier\; we brought home 96 pounds of fillets this year.\n\n\nINCLUDED:\n\n\n	\n	Private Cabin with private bathroom (double occupancy)\n	\n	\n	Guided fishing every day\n	\n	\n	All meals and snacks\n	\n	\n	Drinks including beer and wine\n	\n	\n	Rods\, reels\, lines\, flies\, lures\, waders and wading boots\, although you are more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer.\n	\n	\n	ALL FLYOUTS to remote fisheries\n	\n	\n	Fish processing and packing\n	\n\n\nNOT INCLUDED:\n\n\n	\n	Transportation to/from Alaska (to and from King Salmon IS included)\n	\n	\n	Alaska fishing license\n	\n	\n	Gratuities\n	\n	\n	Items of a personal nature\n	\n	\n	Expenses in Anchorage or elsewhere in Alaska
