Mohammed taught Robotics and Physics to high schoolers. Zakia worked for an American organization. In the days following the removal of all troops\, they learned that the Taliban were searching all the houses. If they found anything in the home written in English\, they would often shoot someone on the spot\, not allowing any explanation. Even after burning documents\, Mohammed and Zakia didn't feel safe.\n\n\n\nCome listen to their harrowing journey out of Afghanistan with their newborn daughter\, Helia. Despite the tumultuous path they traveled\, this family\, along with many other Afghan immigrants\, arrived in the United States with a dream a dream of building a better future for themselves and their families.
